Welp! The first time i got a bite of siomai happened during my first years in college, (: outside our university campus. There were tons of street vendors selling different tasty foods... And, I got a taste to most of them but this one - siomai. The day i tasted it, t'was so delicious! Its hot flavor that melts inside your mouth feels like i'm in China or some feeling like that. Since then, it becomes my habit of stopping by and buy some (: and it's not expensive at all! (:

YOU SHOULD TRY SOME! YOU'LL MISS 1/4 OF YOUR LIFE IF YOU DON'T GET EVEN JUST A BITE OF IT. SWEAR! ^_^

I was being so curious why this all posts talk about compliment with this one. Thanks a lot Karrie for your Siomai story. So, that's how it all began. Actually there are hundred kinds of siomais. That's because the way it's being prepared depends on the cultural or regional backgrounds...
I'm sure that the Philippine style siomai is somehow different from that of Cantonese or mainland Chinese siomai. Korea also has its own version of siomai and it tastes a little different from that of Cantonese siomai, which I tried for the first time last year...
