COCOBANA BEACH RESORT

Cocobana resort is nicely settling right at the heart of the white Bounty Beach in Malapascua Island.

It is considered the first resort in Malapascua built in 1992.

Its nice name comes from the combination of coconut corals bananas and cabanas.

It is being managed by a Swiss and Filipino couple who are very glad to serve those who are looking for the beach, sun, and relaxation.

FUN WATER ACTIVITIES & ADVENTURES

Malapascua waters is considered the scuba divers’ paradise. You will enjoy wreck diving and underwater cave diving at Gato Island.

At Shark Point, you will encounter the famous thresher sharks, hammerhead sharks, manta rays in the afternoon.

PADI diving course available in all dive shops nearby and you’ll find them very friendly and glad enough to teach you diving skills and theories.

EXPLORING THE ISLAND

Being on the island itself is already a refreshing experience for a guest.
You can go and relax under the palm trees, get tan, swim, snorkel in the crystal clear water, or anything you want to enjoy…

You can also walk around the island via white sand beach for about 3 hours, or take a boat for rent/hire.

Charter Boat Trips
You can request for a Charter Boat Trip to Biliran Island and anchor at Higatangan Island’s white sand bar to explore the six volcanos on it.

Or, trip to Calanggaman Island for only an hour from Malapascua Island. Calanggaman’s long beach is perfect for diving, swimming, picnic, beach volleyball, etc.
